Moving to Texas to dance for Ingredients Dance Company has given me a solid foundation of faith, dance training, and community for the future the Lord has for me. I have been provided countless opportunities to grow in dance technique, style, and depth, while also learning extensively about what it means to be a leader in every area of life. Ingredients has pushed, molded, and challenged me in areas I was initially too scared to face on my own. I will forever be grateful for every person that I have met, experience I have gotten to be a part of, and lifelong seeds that have been planted. Ingredients is so much more than a season of my life or a dance company to me- it is family! I am so excited to see how the Lord continues to use these foundational years in every new chapter of my life.

Ever since I was little, my dream was to be a part of ING. But I think what my heart wanted more was to be a part of something bigger than myself. God was so good to fulfill my dream and through ING I have grown into the woman and dancer I am today. I have found a new confidence in who I am and what I was created to do. I have stepped into leadership positions I never thought I could. I have experienced His glory in ways I could have never imagined. I have found a freedom and strength in my dancing that only came from the push and encouragement of my teachers. I’m beyond thankful for this ministry I now call family and for how it has prepared me for the rest of my life!

My experience being a part of Ingredients has been nothing short of life changing. Through this program, my whole life has shifted from old to new, from death to life, from broken to whole. The community you get to be a part of, the professional dance training and teachers, the discipleship and support all work together to cultivate an amazing, unique, and God-driven environment unlike any other. From the outreach opportunities and events to technique classes and rehearsals, Jesus is at the center of it all. If you are thinking of auditioning for Ingredients, do it! Take a step of faith and be open to all God has for your life. You will not regret it!
